| We welcome you to
the McKinnon Presbyterian Church web site, we hope you enjoy your visit
with us and we invite you to join us in any or all of our activities. We
are located in the Tyler Mountain area just outside the city limits of
Charleston, West Virginia. We have been here since around 1917
worshipping God and serving our community. We are a small church with
about 65 members. This allows us to know and care for each other in
significant ways. We've adopted a mission statement that says, "Through
our worship, sharing our faith, and caring for others, we provide hope
for our congregation, our community and our world." I think that
describes us pretty well. We serve a loving God who has given us a
Savior, Jesus Christ, who forgives our sins and teaches us how to live.
Our hope and our faith in Jesus Christ sustains us in the changing and
challenging times. |
